Thank you all for supporting the first #yyjpajamaparty! Between our Canada Helps page, restaurant support, and private donations, we raised nearly $10,000 to fill hungry tummies and inspire young minds!
On September 23rd, Victoria went for brunch (in their pajamas!) in support of Breakfast2Music. Fourteen local restaurants committed 25% of their brunch profits (or $300) to the campaign. Huge thanks to Northern Quarter, King’s Road Caffe Fantastico, Canoe, 5th St Wood Fired Rotisserie, Fishhook Mermaid’s Wharf, Fuego, Haro’s, Heron Rock Bistro, Hot and Cold Cafe, Little June, Mo:Le, Nourish Kitchen & Cafe and Zambri’s.
After brunch, the party continued at the Government House Bandshell with pancakes for kids, dancing and music for all provided by local legend Bucan Bucan and Louise Rose! Supporters also came by our headquarters at Northern Quarter to purchase First We Brunch, a book by Rebecca Wellman, who collaborated with us to launch this event. A portion of all sales helped support Breakfast2Music.
High five to everyone for making this first event such a smashing success!
