Susan Wetmore

Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, and a UVic political science and history graduate, Susan’s professional background includes current affairs reporting and producing for CBC Radio and TV, public relations, and consulting for cultural and professional organizations. Susan is a former Victoria Symphony board member, a former docent at the Victoria Art Gallery, as well as a member of various committees, including the local Neighbourhood Association.

Sheila Protti

Born and raised on the Island, Sheila returned to Victoria 11 years ago. Sheila’s working life includes over 20 years as a freelance editor. Her volunteer contributions include the Ottawa Youth Orchestra board, the founding of the Opera Lyra Ottawa Boys Choir, and more recently the Victoria Symphony board. Music interests and parenting lead to Sheila’s involvement in pre-school music and participation as a Breakfast 2 Music board member.

Valerie Murray

Born and raised in Victoria, BC, Valerie has been actively involved in the gardening community for 30 years, presently as the garden advisor at Government House. She has served on the UVic Finnerty Gardens advisory board and on the Victoria Conservatory of Music board, worked with fundraising committees of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. First, we eat then we learn. Self-identified ‘band mom,’ she works for the inclusion of music in the lives of children.

Kathryn Stolle

Long-time resident of Victoria, Kathryn was a member and president of the Board of Directors of Pacific Opera, served on the Board of Directors of the Victoria Foundation, worked with Coats for Kids, raised funds for the Victoria Conservatory of Music, and is a mentor for the UVic School of Business. She is a founding member of Breakfast2Music and committed to the goal of ensuring that no child in Victoria starts the school day hungry.
