#YYJPajamaParty 2019: A Show of Local Love!

A big thank you from Breakfast2Music to everyone who supported our 2019 #YYJPajamaParty! Your participation and donations made it a resounding success: together we raised more than $14,000 for the hungry kids of SD #61! That’s over $4000 more than last year!

Nineteen awesome community-minded restaurants participated, generously donating at least $300 each. They included 5th St Wood Fired Rotisserie, Blue Fox Cafe, Crooked Goose Bistro, Demitasse,  Fernwood Inn, Fireside Grill, Floyd’s Diner, Il Fuego Old Town Eatery, Heron Rock Bistro, Hot and Cold Cafe, Little June Café, Moka House, Northern Quarter, Nourish, Pizzeria Prima Strada (Cook St.),  Shine Cafe (Blanshard St.), Shine Cafe (Fort St.), The Village (Cook St.) and Vista 18. Thank you, all! We are so grateful as well to The Root Cellar and every patron and supporter of these fantastic local businesses. Once again, Victoria proved to reign supreme as the “Brunch Capitol of Canada”!

Brunch wasn’t the only thing on the menu on September 22nd: Louise Rose and Bucan Bucan brought the proverbial sunshine to revelers with fabulous song at the Government House Bandshell lawn. Of course, pancakes were also provided.

Special thanks are due to our media sponsors 100.3 The Q and The Zone as well for their incredible support getting the word out!

Who needs some brunch?! Northern Quarter’s got you covered!

We are truly heartened by the on-going show of local support for this project. By donating, participating and spreading the word about food poverty in Victoria you are making a crucial difference in the lives of Victoria’s young people. Together we’re not only feeding hungry local kids but also helping them learn and succeed. Sincere thanks for boosting these kids and their future.
